Dilana (3-year-old) had a dance recital tonight. It was her second one. She actually did very well. Her first recital she didn't remember as much but this one she must be just enough older, or maybe it's just because she has been doing dance long enough that she's remembering the dances better, but she did very well. I was so proud :)
That being said, lol, on her last dance, she lost a shoe. She lost it at the beginning but another girl helped her get it on. Well, she lost it again toward the end of the song. So what does she do? In a 3-year-old mind, what else is there to do, silly? Lay down, flat on your back, with your foot in the air while another little girl tries to put it on, of course! LOL. It was priceless. The whole audience was laughing. It was quite funny...lol.
Oh, and before that mishap, her partner was sick for this recital, so her teacher told the little girls next to her that the three of them needed to be partners. Well, apparently, they forgot, so she was on stage yelling for her teacher [her teacher stands right off to the side backstage] saying, "I don't have a partner!" lol. *sigh* It was cute :)
My kid is silly, but adorable :) I loves her ♥
